Makeup stains can be especially challenging. But Oxiclean™ can help you get lipstick, foundation, mascara, lip gloss and concealer out of clothes and fabrics.
Pre-treat makeup stains as soon as possible with OxiClean™ Max Force™ Laundry Stain Remover and wash up to a week later.
For larger or more stubborn stains, soak in OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover for several hours.
Remove the excess cakey makeup using the edge of a dull kitchen knife, a spatula, or even a credit card. Scrape and lift up the excess. Do not rub or scrub or you will work the makeup stain further into the fabric or carpet.
For powdered makeup spills, such as bronzer, eye shadow, foundation, or loose powder, don’t wipe up the excess – you’ll only cause it to spread. Instead, dust it off.
For emergencies, dampen a towel and wipe it off until you can get home to pretreat it properly with OxiClean™ Max Force™ Spray.
Fill to line 1 per 16 ounces of water. Remove excess stains before treating.
Only enough solution to saturate stain. Allow solution to stand 1-5 minutes. Do not allow solution to dry on fabrics.
Blot with white towel. Repeat until stain is not visible. Rinse carpet with clean water and blot until dry.
Sometimes even multiple cleanings won’t get really tough odors out of clothes and carpets. From body odor in clothes to pet odor to the dreaded cat urine smell on carpet, OxiClean™ has solutions for banishing odors for good.
